Student organizations are a vital part of campus life.  They create the spaces for students to develop relationships, nurture their identities and interests, learn leadership and operational skills that are transferable to the workforce, and have fun.  Often, students speak about their organizations as a second family, a home in the academic setting.  At Spalding, recognized student organizations should embody the University mission and the University’s designation as a Compassionate University.  We believe that students are creative, resourceful and whole and organizing allows them to maximize the strengths and gifts they have to make the entire campus and community thrive.  

The RSO handbook is designed to assist your organization in providing a safe, creative, and productive learning experience for the campus and surrounding community. You will find instructions on procedures and important policies that will apply to RSO activities. We encourage you to carefully look through the handbook and emphasize this information to fellow members. Our intent is for this to be a reference for you and the entire RSO.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance throughout the year.
