Non-Sanction Based Adjustments

In order to maintain an environment in which all individuals feel as safe as possible, the Dean of Students or her/his designee may make permanent adjustments to student housing assignments, class schedules, building access, transportation, work schedules and other relevant factors when concerns such as threatening behavior, sexual misconduct/assult, harassment, stalking, domestic violence or other issues are brought forth.

Even if formal charges are not pursued by the alleged victim or university, there may be adjustments to the living environment or schedules of a student that will provide an improved sense of safety to the alleged victim. The Dean of Students will ensure that such adjustments are fair and do not adversely impact the individuals involved.
